Only with profound respect and admiration for your heirlooms, do we approach a piece or project for preservation and conservation.
We have one main goal in mind: to conserve artifacts back to their most beautiful, period appropriate state. Using the same techniques and finishes as when these items were new.

Furniture Conservation
Antique Furniture Restoration
We specialize in conserving and restoring every aspect of Antique furniture, whether it needs to be French Polished, Waxed, or mended. We repair and replace veneers and re-carve or recreate any missing piece. We bring 35 years of world class attention to each and every piece. Most conservation is performed on location. Unless severely damaged.
Finishing & French Polishing
While we specialize in French Polishing all 17th and 18th Century Furniture. We also provide the same care to all finishes: Varnishes, Lacquers, Hand Rubbed and High Polished finishes are our specialties. We have the capacity to color match or recreate any finish with world class care.
Gilding
We specialize in Water or Oil gilding. From 14 to 24 Karat, we can repair an area or completely re-gild an entire piece. Our craftsmen have over 140 years of collective experience in gold leaf, silver leaf and metal gilding.
Furniture Reproductions
We have world class craftsmen who can build an exact reproduction in house. Marquetry, Parquetry, Carving, Veneers, Gilding, Castings. Every aspect of recreating a piece is performed in our shop or studio.
Furniture Maintenance
Wood is a living organism and needs annual care to keep it from drying out. It extends the longevity of your pieces for decades or centuries. Annual maintenance is an essential aspect of preventative care.

While most Bronze items generally just need maintenance to keep the Patina in great condition, there is the occasion when a piece has damage which is more significant. Whether it is maintenance or a major repair we address all issues involved and bring your items back to full usability.
Ceramics & Porcelains
We provide world class repair and maintenance of your ceramic and porcelain items. Whether chipped or severely broken we repair back to unnoticeable condition in most instances.

Glass Restoration
We can in many instances polish or repair glass back to its original state. If you need a piece of original Restoration Glass replaced from the 16-18th century, it is our specialty to cut a piece to match your existing pattern. A chip or scratch shouldn’t be an eyesore. Our craftsmen are highly trained in the art of glass repair and restoration.

We specialize in Antique Carpet and Rug repair and care. Whether your heirloom needs to be rewoven, cleaned or repaired our specialists are the very best in caring for your Heirloom. We do in house and in shop care depending upon the item.
Fabrics/Tapestries
From 14th to 21th Century, we cover all aspects of care for fabric. Our museum quality experience allows us to provide the best solutions to any issue you may have. We take a white-gloved approach to all Fabric items and perform an analysis on each item to evaluate its needs, prior to conservation.
Leather Conservation & Restoration
Water damage, dryness and discoloration are only a few of the issues we address with leather. Whether your desktop needs replacing, your Vintage Club chair is in need of conditioning, or a new panel needs to match an existing, we solve the problem with care. Only the finest cleaning and conditioning products are used to bring leather back to life.
Upholstery Restoration
We have a fully staffed Upholstery shop to address any issue you may have. Whether it is a complete re-upholstery or replacing a portion of a piece, we provide the same care. With the end goal always being as least invasive as possible to anything vintage or cherished.
We regularly travel to work on private collections in Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Napa Valley and Orange County. Also, we travel to London, Asia, Europe and throughout the United States for our clients. Most, if not all, conservation is performed on site.
